Flight crew officers now have the following:
■ Access to Emergency Shuttle Bays 1 and 4, located on decks 6 (near the bridge and crew quarters) and 249 (just below the passenger quarters).
■ Full access to flight deck command consoles, including remote flight control systems and the shuttle schematics database.

Hey guys! Since we have more people now, I figured I'd toss this up here. Back in November we got mod word that the flight crew is only going to be able to fix ONE shuttle every TWO months. As of right now, this means they probably have about... six working shuttles. Which, well... it's better than none?
ICly, we have a lot of tech geniuses and hard workers so this is understandably going to be frustrating for them! So I figured in addition to making sure everyone knows about that, I'd remind everyone of some various reasons why it takes them so damn long and we can brainstorm more if we want and idk stuff.
- They've been sitting in the TQ for who the fuck knows how long! General disrepair due to not being properly maintained, baw. This could include hull breaches, shitty wiring, buttons not working, cracked glass, seats the collapse when you sit on them... pretty much whatever!
- They're damaged every jump (which can be any length of time and also go with general disrepair)! According to mod word, it's never quite the same way twice. Sob, ship.
- Heavy lifting takes time. Unfortunately.
- In December people tried to steal one! And probably broke a bunch of shit. And that was not fun.
- Plots! If the entire ship is trying to not die, sometimes it's a little more difficult to work on shuttles.

If your character is TRAINING or is BEING TRAINED for flight training and/or other shuttle bay duties, please comment beneath the appropriate thread with the character NAME in the COMMENT TITLE and fill out the form.
If your character is often in the shuttle bay but is not there for training and is not officially part of the flight crew, please comment here! Please put your character's NAME in the COMMENT TITLE and fill out the form below.
In the comments, please put any ITEMS or OTHERWISE NOTICEABLE FEATURES that may be in the shuttle bay thanks to your character. Please put the NAME of the item in the COMMENT TITLE.
If the item is outside of the main shuttle bay, please be specific!
» No alcohol or drug use is permitted in the shuttle bay.
» No groups of more than two without crew invitation, and all visitors must have crew supervision.
» No disturbing working crew members.
» Do not touch or disturb the tools, shuttles, etc.
» No firearms or open flames permitted in shuttle bay.
If you want entry into the shuttle bay please contact one of the flight crew.
There is guaranteed to be at least two of us in there at all times available to supervise.
